FAS Elections: Singabrigade's Syed Faris joins

A salute and a round of applause for Syed Faris,
As we look to the future of football in Singapore, one name that stands out as a beacon of leadership, passion, and dedication is Syed Faris. Known not just as the leader of Singabrigade, but as a tireless advocate for the growth and development of football in our nation.
Under his stewardship along with our top boys, Singabrigade has grown exponentially over the past few years garnering local football fans eager to join the cheering contingent. Singabrigade has come a long way by incorporating the Ultras of each club into the fold forming an alliance of supporters for the national team. At first, it was a fragile alliance amongst different groups, but Singabrigade has since shown it is a very tight-knit coalition. Long gone were the days of factions like Exclusinga & Brigata Lion City as fans of Singapore football can now truly unite under one banner!
Together, Singabrigade has affected change by upgrading fandom in Singapore with innovations in logistics, administration and fan atmosphere. SB is also a direct voice in dialogues with our FA and local football/sports stakeholders.
As Faris contests in the 2025 Football Association of Singapore elections, his candidacy represents the hopes and aspirations of countless football fans who believe that our sport deserves to be nurtured, respected, and elevated on both local and international stages. Faris’s vision for the future of Singapore football is one of more fan inclusivity, matchday experience, welfare and atmosphere. One of the recent issues that was fought for by Faris was for fans to be able to bring placards into stadiums citing a case of a little Singaporean girl who was denied entry for bringing a placard showing her love for the nation. These are things we take for granted when fans nowadays are allowed to bring placards into the stadium.
Faris will and has always kept his ear close to the ground to listen to sentiments of the Singabrigadiers as well as the civilian fans and he will do so for many more years to come.
Let us rally behind Syed Faris, a true advocate for the game, as he continues his journey to inspire and lead us toward a stronger, more vibrant football community in Singapore. To represent us fans. Let his voice be heard. All the best Faris! 💪🏻
